Finding he had a knack for the job after being introduced to it by his father-in-law, Michael Watts became the production director of the Daily Journal/Messenger 8 years ago. He manages the production of newspapers, of sales and customer service of commercial print jobs, he schedules staff, and maintains proper inventory of the consumables. For him, no two days are the same and the business really keeps him on his toes.
Mike lives in Walhalla with his wife, Cyndy, and his 2 children. He enjoys riding his motorcycle and playing basketball. He's affiliated with the Foothills Community Church.
